Error Code 316 is a warning message and means the instrument has ignored the inserted cartridge.
This will occur when the drug reader module resumed from sleep with a cartridge already inserted. To prevent unusual behaviour, the cartridge is ignored until it is removed and reinserted. This status item does not represent any kind of error or fault.
Of the cartridge has already been used, dispose of the cartridge in accordance with your company policy and local regulations.
If the cartridge is unused and you are unsure of how long it has been there or if it was left unattended, it is advised to discard that cartridge on use another one to ensure it has not been tampered with.
