The Cartridge Packaging

Each cartridge package has a part number, product number and expiry date printed on the back. The back of each cartridge package confirms the drug groups that the cartridge tests for, which is stipulated by the Australian Standards 4760:2019. The package is to remain hermetically sealed until the time of testing and should be free of damage. The cartridge packages should remain in a cool, dry place to ensure heat damage does not occur. If the cartridge packaging is damaged or heat affected prior to use, it can no longer be used and is required to be disposed of in accordance with your company policy and local regulations. Prior to testing, the collector is required to inspect the heat temperature dot on the temperature card to ensure it has not been heat affected as this will affect the test results. Cartridges should be stored between +5°c and +35°c and should be at room temperature prior to use.
